No, we are using 100% aluminium alloy profile to assemble the cabinet to minimise any potential formaldehyde emission. Any plywood, compressed wood are not assembled into our product.

Most of the cabinet in the market is made of plywood and/or compressed wood that releases formaldehyde lasting for at least 10 years. We guarantee that aluminium cabinet has zero formaldehyde emission.

Pregnant women, children, elderly and people with asthma are more vulnerable to formaldehyde. Research have discovered that low level formaldehyde can cause eye, nose and throat irritation. High level of formaldehyde can cause skin rashes, shortness of breath, wheezing, changes in lung function and infant deformity. 

In addition, there is strong link between formaldehyde and leukemia (blood cancer), nasal sinus cancer and other type of cancers.
